We successfully obtained planning permission from Preston City Council for 3100sq metres of mixed use B1 and B8 light industrial and warehouse buildings with associated parking and landscaping.
The application included a carpet retail and warehousing outlet. The combined storage and retail facility incorporates a concrete mezzanine floor accommodating offices, meeting rooms and a front of house retail showroom with associated finishes, reception and display areas.
The scheme was subject to a Section 106 agreement which made contributions to make improvements to the public transport network and cycling strategy. Part of our role was to negotiate with the Council to ensure that the contributions were fair and proportionate to the nature and size of the proposal.
