Appeals

Where a planning application has been refused permission by the Local Authority there is the opportunity to appeal to the independent Planning Inspectorate, by way of:

Written Representation, or
Informal Hearing, or
Public Inquiry.

We provide clients with advice on the merits or otherwise of pursuing an appeal, as well as the most appropriate appeal procedure to follow. As with planning applications we can manage the appeal process from start to finish, including instructing Counsel and managing other consultants where necessary, but can also provide stand-alone appeal statements. We also provide proofs of evidence and act as professional expert witnesses at appeal inquiries.
