Members of Wyre Borough Council Planning Committee has resolved to grant outline planning permission at the September meeting for a settlement extension to the village of Inskip, subject to a legal agreement.
The application, submitted by De Pol and designed by architects Baldwin Design Consultancy, comprises the erection of up to 55 dwellinghouses and a village shop with associated landscaping and open space.
Committee Members agreed with the officer’s recommendation to approve the proposals on the grounds that the scheme comprised sustainable development and would contribute to the borough’s housing needs.
The approval follows our previous success in obtaining outline planning permission back in 2015 for the development of land on the edge of Inskip for 27 dwellings.
We also subsequently assisted developer Create Homes in obtaining reserved matters approval for the detailed design of the 27 dwelling housing scheme. The development, known as Ash Meadows, is currently under construction and a number of plots have already been released for sale.
