Project Description

Our client owned and operated an arable farm in the Cheshire countryside near Crewe, and required a new agricultural building for the storage of hay/straw, bagged silage/corn and additional farm equipment.

We prepared and submitted an application for prior notification to the Council, demonstrating that there was a need for the agricultural building and that the proposals did not require express planning permission as they comprised permitted development under the Town & Country Planning Act (General Permitted Development Order).

The Council ultimately confirmed that our client was able to erect the proposed 111 sqm agricultural storage building.
