Acting on behalf of Wigan and Leigh College De Pol has submitted a planning application for a new access and reconfiguration of the car park at the College’s Parsons Walk Campus.
Following the expiration of a long term lease for car parking on an adjacent site the College were forced to look at alternatives to provide sufficient car parking for students and staff. Working in partnership with CDP Infrastructure De Pol has advised on and submitted a planning application for a new access and reorganisation of the existing car park to maximise parking opportunities within the College’s ownership.
De Pol has managed the full planning process advising on necessary inputs from highways and arboricultural specialists, preparing a supporting statement and collating and submitting the planning application. The application has responded to the College’s requirements whilst taking account of key site constraints.
A decision is expected on the application in late 2016.
