Alcohol Detox and Rehab Centre, South Liverpool
Acting on behalf of a local care provider, De Pol associates secured permission for the use of an existing building as an alcohol detox and rehab centre.
Iceland launches new Food Warehouses
De Pol has a role in advising the national supermarket retailer, Iceland Foods, on planning matters in relation to the roll out of their new Food Warehouse format stores across the country.
Mix use development for 470 dwellings in Allscott
De Pol were instructed as lead consultant by a joint partnership venture between British Sugar and Northern Trust. We successfully obtained outline planning permission for the mixed use redevelopment of a former sugar beet industrial site and adjacent farmland in the Shropshire countryside near Telford. The proposal included 470 dwellings, a primary school, business enterprise hub, retail units, doctors surgery with pharmacy, community allotments, sport and recreational facilities including a new pavilion, public open space and biodiversity enhancements.
Farm office and welfare building in Warrington Green Belt
Following refusal of a previous application submitted by a third party De Pol were appointed by a Warrington based farmer with agricultural land in Warrington, Wigan and Salford to secure planning permission for a new office and welfare building in a countryside location and within the designated Green Belt.
Eco-pod holiday homes in Forest of Bowland AONB
De Pol was appointed by a private client to progress a scheme for an eco-pod development in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Ribble Valley. The scheme proposed five new underground pods to be used for short-let holiday accommodation alongside a range of environmental improvements including new woodland planting and installation of a sustainable drainage system.
New 1.6 Mega-watt engine at East London Biogas’ site
De Pol were appointed by East London Biogas Ltd to obtain planning permission for the installation of a new 1.6Mega-watt engine to increase electricity generating capacity by burning biogas at its Dagenham dock site in Essex, East London.
Two dwellings in South Ribble Green Belt.
De Pol secured outline planning permission for the erection of two detached houses in the South Ribble Green Belt, where there is a general presumption against inappropriate development at both national and local policy level.

Acting on behalf of Wigan and Leigh College De Pol has submitted a planning application for a new access and reconfiguration of the car park at the College’s Parsons Walk Campus.
Prestigious office HQ and storage building in Wyre
Our client UK Carline is a vehicle leasing business who purchased a haulage site in the designated countryside close to the village of Bilsborrow in Wyre. The site was originally used by them to store and distribute vehicles for lease, although over time fewer vehicles needed to be stored on site as they were delivered directly to the customer by the manufacturer. The predominant use of the site therefore changed, becoming the office base for the growing business.
