Unique woodland management building in Cheshire greenbelt
De Pol were appointed by a private client to advise them on development options for 5 hectare site on the urban/rural fringe of Warrington, Cheshire within the designated greenbelt. Following our advice, the client decided to progress an application for a bespoke forestry management facility to assist her aspiration to establish a forestry business focussed on the management and renewal of tree stock to provide timber supplies for woodland craft, fencing and firewood.
Enforcement appeal in West Lancashire Green Belt
De Pol played an instrumental role in getting an enforcement notice quashed in relation to an unlawful change of use from farm land to residential use in the West Lancashire greenbelt.
Waste recycling site in Preston
De Pol secured planning permission on behalf of Recycling Lives to change the use of 6.2ha of land and buildings on Longridge Road in Preston from a B8 storage & distribution depot to a sui generis use for waste recycling of metal, end of life vehicles and waste electrical items.
Children’s Day Nursery Extension
Acting on behalf of Busy Bears Nursery, De Pol secured planning permission for the extension of the company’s nursery in Ribbleton, Preston. The approval allows Busy Bears to extend their premises and increase their intake of children by an additional 25%.

Award winning redevelopment of Macclesfield Hospital
De Pol were retained by landowner East Cheshire NHS Trust and developer Keyworker Homes to progress various applications for planning permission and listed building consent for the re-development and refurbishment of part of Macclesfield General Hospital.

De Pol Associates has successfully secured outline planning permission for up to 40 dwellings on a former concrete works in Pilling, Lancashire.
